New horizon: Trekking Club team is achieving new levels in outdoor adventures
We are glad to announce another successful project just done: an international 4-days outdoor trip for children took place on 11-14 March at Ili river. This program was not first to be done in early spring, but we feel it as real touristic breakthrough in our career as outdoor adventure professionals. More than 20 kids with 5 teachers enjoyed a new camping format in the conditions of windy March in Tamgaly-Tas rocky area. And we took a best chance to keep away from the old standards and get some valuable experience in winter camping, in a totally different way.
So, the job resulted in an excellent time spent with students at a beauty spot called Tamgaly Tas, surrounded by the rocks painted by ancient artists and time.
We were lucky to have that frosty and sunny days, we enjoyed a weather climbing the rocks, doing some “rescue” exercises with ropes walky-talkies, searching for the treasures with metal-detectors, crossing the canyons on trolley-ways, participating in real archery tournaments and cooking on the stoves. And all the actions had the only one main aim – to study outdoor living, to see the nature and animals, to learn new ways of keeping the environment clean and safe, to love the nature even it is not always fun and comfort.
As a Trekking Club team, we were mostly proud of our tent camping infrastructure, as it was fully designed and realized in a best possible way. We didn’t want to make the children upset of such a cold conditions, as most of them were first time camping outside! So, the idea was to make it perfectly: warm (heated) canteen in a big new tent, hot water, multimedia (TV and players), fantastic food (5 times a day) dserved as “buffet”, electrical lighting, new comfort camp furniture and bright colored flags – all that helped to keep a good mood of our small campers.
